Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stackpad platform, operated by slashslash B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands (“Stackpad”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or using Stackpad, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Beta Services

Stackpad is currently in public beta. During the beta period, features may change, be removed, or experience downtime without prior notice. Beta services are provided “as-is” and “as available” without any warranty or SLA.

We may offer certain features as previews or early access. These features may be incomplete, contain bugs, or behave unexpectedly. Your use of beta and preview features is at your own risk.

3. Account

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Stackpad. If you use Stackpad on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the code, data, and content you deploy on Stackpad (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We access Your Content only to provide and operate the platform, perform maintenance, and prevent abuse.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Stackpad to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware, conduct phishing, or engage in other malicious activity
  • Mine cryptocurrency or run computationally abusive workloads
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
  • Resell or sublicense access to Stackpad without our prior written consent

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. During beta, we do not offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA). We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability and will provide reasonable notice when possible.

7. Data and Privacy

All data is stored and processed exclusively in European data centers. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). For details on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All prices are in euros and exclude VAT where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply retroactively to the current billing period.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time through the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your deployed services will be stopped and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stackpad and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Stackpad shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the six months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Stackpad is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Stackpad after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Stackpad shall be submitted to the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
